Affordable Housing Clearinghouse is offering Foreclosure Prevention Counseling. If you or someone you know is having trouble making house payments or if your home is in foreclosure and you need help, please call AHC at (877) 990-5626 and ask to speak with Helen Tran or send her an email at [email protected] to schedule an appointment.

We developed and implemented a homeownership preservation program to assist families preserve homeownership. Our goal is to assist homeowners in keeping their homes by working with lenders and the customer in finding a solution to avoid a foreclosure. When this is not possible, counseling can help homeowners transition smoothly and reduce the consequences and costs that occur when losing their home through foreclosure.

The California Mortgage Relief Program uses federal Homeowner Assistance Funds to help homeowners get caught up on past-due housing payments and property taxes. The program is free and the funds to not need to be repaid.
